Dear Swansfield Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I’m honored to serve as your PTA President and excited for all that’s ahead.

As both a parent and a member of this community, I know that school is about so much more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about the friendships our children build, the relationships we form as families, and the memories we create together. My hope is that every family feels welcomed, connected, and knows they belong at Swansfield.

The PTA is here to support our students, teachers, and staff while creating opportunities for families to get involved and build connections. Whether you attend an event, volunteer for an hour, share an idea, or simply become a member, you are making a difference.

There are many ways to get involved:

Join the PTA

Your annual membership helps fund programs, family events, educational enrichment, staff appreciation, and other experiences that make Swansfield special. Even if you’re unable to volunteer, becoming a member is a meaningful way to support our school.

Attend a PTA Meeting

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month and are open to everyone. We’re alternating meeting times this year to make it easier for more families to attend. Every meeting will also have a hybrid option, so you can join us in person or from home. If you attend in person, childcare will be available. Whether you come every month or just once during the year, we hope you’ll join us to hear what’s happening at school, share your ideas, and connect with other Swansfield families.

Volunteer in a Way That Works for You

We know every family’s schedule is different, so we’re working to make volunteering easier than ever. You’ll see more clearly defined volunteer opportunities with specific roles, time commitments, and responsibilities, making it easier to find opportunities that fit your interests and availability. Whether you have an hour to help at an event or want to take on a larger role, every contribution helps make our school stronger.

Together, we’ll create meaningful experiences for our families, celebrate our incredible teachers and staff, support student learning, and strengthen the connections that make Swansfield such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

If we haven’t met yet, I hope you’ll introduce yourself at an event or send me an email. I’d love the opportunity to connect with you and hear what you’d like to see from our PTA.

Thank you for being part of our Swansfield family. I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.
