Volunteer

There are many ways to volunteer at Swansfield. Some require only an hour or two, some can be done outside school or outside school hours, some can be done with small children in tow, and many are done at school, either during the day or in the evening. This committee listing includes a brief description and indicates things such as whether you can do it from home, do it with small children, etc.

You maybe wondering how to help in your child's classroom. Many grades/teachers have volunteer sign up forms at the beginning of the school year. If you don't see one, all you need to do is send a note or email to your child's teacher, and offer. They will be happy to have your help!

Volunteer needs change during the course of the year, so please check back regularly. We will post a new volunteer form every couple of months so you can plan accordingly. Make sure to register so you will be  notified of upcoming events and last minute volunteer needs.

Volunteer Form:

The volunteer form for February, March, April is HERE. You can print it out and send it to school in your child's Monday folder.

Backyard Book Fair:

Come help our students select books from the Backyard Book Fair, February 6th through 10th. Not available during the day? Consider helping with our Family Night, Friday, Feb 10th. The On-line form is HERE.

Staff Dinner:

Sign up to provide dinner to the Swansfield Staff the first day of parent-teacher conferences (February 15). The on-line form is HERE.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation:

Sign up to provide a home cooked item for a teacher appreciation lunch. These are done monthly, each with a theme. The on-line form is HERE.

Committee Chairs and Key Tasks:

We need volunteers to take on some key tasks and to head up some very important committees. The On-line form is HERE.
